I mentioned in my FOP cock ring review that I stumbled across a matching cock and glans set in the King Rings secondhand products page - and wouldn’t you know it? They were just my size. Although I now own 9 King Rings cock adornments, this is my first glans ring from Scott. How does it stack up?

I shouldn’t have to say that the design and finish of ANY King Rings product is top quality as that is just what has come to be expected at the price point and from a well-established brand in the industry. The glans rings are no exception to this rule with this sample sporting a handsome piano black plating under a crystal smooth finish. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think the finish of the glans ring may differ in some way to those of the cock rings - it just looks… different. It seems to pick up finger prints more? Or perhaps that is just a side effect of my cock rings being flat while the glans rings feature a radiused outer profile? In any event, the finish is on par with what you would expect from King Rings.

Speaking of radiused, this .948" diameter adornment features a comfortably radiused interior. This is a nice touch, though not as critical for a glans ring as it is for a cock ring. The outer profile is also generously radiused to minimize the opportunity for pinching against the corona. The FOP glans rings are available in wide (15mm) and slim (10mm) options. Being the wider size, mine measures .589" (which is dead-on from a manufacturing perspective). Tragically, the outer radius does not match the step cut of the FOP cock ring and the inlay is not as wide proportionally as the inlay on the cock ring. I wish the design of the glans ring could more closely match the cock ring. My working assumption is that this is an intentional sacrifice of design in favor of comfort given that the head of a penis is the most sensitive part of the whole package. Maybe it is more conspicuous because I went with the wider option, where the more narrow option would be less obviously different. With this guy weighing 2.7oz, you will be reminded of its presence through the course of the day by its gentle tug on your manhood. What is especially surprising is that it weighs slightly less than my small heavy donut glans ring in stainless steel. I think this is attributed to the fact that the FOP glans ring is not as thick as the stainless donut, and what it doesn’t have in raw size is made up for by the additional weight of tungsten carbide.

I am a little torn on this one. On one hand, I do love the design and the fact that it matches a cock ring of the same maker. When worn together, the combination is unmistakably attractive thanks to the rings’ smooth, piano-black finish and majestic abalone inlay. Still, I’m held back from mashing the “favorite” button on this one because I really wish the outer profile and inlay proportions of the glans ring matched the cock ring and for the heft of tungsten carbide to be much more noticeable than a comparable stainless ring. I certainly don’t regret the purchase - and if you have a King Ring and enjoy wearing glans rings that match, you won’t either!
